"You Saved My Life"
David Huff
music and lyrics by David Huff
Chorus
You saved my life
You erased my past
I won't try to understand
I will accept Your nail scarred hands
You changed my heart
You changed my mind
I never knew love before
Lord I will praise You forever more
'Cause You saved my life
Verse
Oh Lord You know all things
You saw me all alone
Helpless as a child
You came to me as a Father
You took me on Your wings
Now I can live again
(repeat chorus)
Bridge
You are my only hope
The reason I survived
Where would I be today
Thank You Lord I'm alive
(repeat chorus)

Cover Letter
Through his ministry with David & the Giants and as a solo artist,
David Huff has impacted thousands of lives including mine. I count it
a privilege to be able to offer you the debut single from his new solo
release DO YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN.
“YOU SAVED MY LIFE” is a song of praise that brings the truth of what
Christ has done for us down to its most basic level. “Jesus…You saved
my life…and I want to say thank You!” On the surface, it may seem like
a simple song, but when you think about what’s being said, I am moved
by just how profound the message is.
“‘You Saved My Life’ is one of those songs that relates to every
Christian,” comments David. “Even though the song was written 2 years
ago, in reality it was written about 30 years ago. When my life seemed
as if it was over, that's when someone told me about this Jesus who
would save me, forgive me and give me a ‘New Life.’ This is really
what happened. Suicide was one of my options from the old life that
was wrecked, but instead God reached way down and had a much greater
plan for my life. ‘You Saved My Life’ is not just another song to me
but a joyful reminder each day that I am ‘alive and well’ all because
of Him!”

the door for the July 4th weekend, add this great song of praise. The
national add and impact date is Thursday, July 3rd! Top

Biography
Born in Pineville, Mississippi, David Huff, the legendary
singer/songwriter of David and the Giant's fame, is known nationwide
as the premier Southern Rock pioneer of Christian music.
David and the Giants were truly pioneers in the early days of
Contemporary Christian music. With a collection of songs that echoed
the passion of the times, David, along with the presence of his
brothers, created some of the classic hits of the era, such as "Here's
My Heart" and "I Can't Live Without You." David and twin brothers,
Rayborn and Clayborn, were born into the Kingdom of God in 1977 and
spent the next 20-plus years ministering in Churches and auditoriums
across the United States and around the world.
Like so many before him, David struggled with how to serve God through
music. Following the encouragement from a local pastor to be part of
an outreach for the lost, David clearly remembers hearing the voice of
God call him to share the message of the Gospel through his gift of
music. David vividly recalls God saying, "...Keep on singing my song."
And so he did.
David Huff currently performs as a solo artist, and his brothers
occasionally rejoin him. David has released three solo albums,
"Really" in 2000, "Proclaim" in 2004, and his latest album, "Do You
Know What I Mean," which will be released in August 2008 by Giant
Records.
"Do You Know What I Mean" features "in your face" lyrics that leave no
room for misunderstandings. Every one of the ten songs were written by
David himself, exploring themes both deeply private and resoundingly
inspirational.
As David tours the country promoting his new CD, this gifted musician
continues to see God's plan for his life unfold as he fulfills his
charge from God to "keep on singing."
