"We are Amazed"
Ginger Millermon
music and lyrics by:
Ginger Millermon and Paul Marino
Lord, we are amazed
At the splendor or Your ways
Nothing can compare
To Your glory
Lord, we lift our hearts
And with our voices raised
We sing a song of praise to You
We are amazed
We love You, Jesus
We are amazed
We are amazed
We love You, Jesus
We are amazed
Lord, we are amazed
At the beauty of Your grace
And nothing can compare
To Your mercy
Lord, we stand in awe
At the wonder of it all
We sing a song of praise to You
Nothing can compare
Nothing can compare
Nothing can compare to You

Cover Letter
Ginger Millermon has been very busy the past few months even
without a new single hitting radio. She wanted to catch her breath
after the release of two consecutive Top 10 singles from her Amazed CD
including “Your Majesty Is Everywhere” and “Speak Peace.” The New Year
brought the release of a new book from Ginger entitled GRACE THUS FAR.
It tells the moving story of her son, Jarrott’s, struggle to remain on
this side of eternity. It takes the reader through the dark valleys
Ginger and her husband, Joel, faced and the joy they experience today
looking back on how amazing God’s grace has been “thus far.” The 700
Club was so moved by their story; they are sending a video crew to the
Millermon’s home in Hutchinson, Kansas, to shoot a special segment for
an upcoming program. And to cap it all of, Ginger and Joel have been
in the process of adopting a child from India.
We can now add to this list the release of an incredible new single
from Ginger Millermon…quite appropriately entitled “WE ARE AMAZED.”
“Our family has been through so much over the years,” shares Ginger.
“Even now as we’re in the middle of adopting a little girl from India,
I’m constantly amazed at the bigness and the greatness of God. Just
when I think something is impossible and I’m tempted to give up, God
shows His incredible power and His perfect timing. From sparing our
son’s life as he was dying, to recently healing my mom of late stage
cancer, and now allowing us to bring an orphaned child home to our
family to love, there truly is nothing that can compare to Him. I
continue to stand in awe of our amazing God!”
As you might guess, “We Are Amazed” is a wonderful song of praise and
celebration. The message will resonate in the hearts of your listeners
and the music will bring joy to their soul.
Give “We Are Amazed” from Ginger Millermon a listen today. We are
going for your add THIS FRIDAY, June 6!

Biography
Ginger Millermon and her husband, Joel, were exhausted. They had
watched, prayed, and waited for months on end as their infant twin
son, Jarrott, fought for every breath. His lips would turn blue, his
tiny chest would cave in…at times, it was all just too much to take.
And now the doctors were about to come in and give them a prognosis.
“Mr. and Mrs. Millermon,” they said, “there is nothing else we can do.
You need to let him go. Take him off the respirator and say goodbye.
He will never have any quality of life. He will most likely have
cerebral palsy—or worse-- even if he lives. This will be easier on you
both, in the long run.”
Ginger had just one question. “Does his brain show activity?” she
whispered. “Yes,” the doctors answered, “his brain activity is very
high.” That’s all Ginger and Joel needed to know. “Then we’re not
doing anything,” they said. “We’re not going to cut God’s hand short.”
Just over 10 years later, Ginger is putting the finishing touches on
her new CD, AMAZED, produced by veteran songwriter/producer Paul
Marino. The songs give voice to a journey that has been at times
tumultuous; often exhausting; and incredibly humbling. From the
soaring declaration of “Your Majesty Is Everywhere” to the bouncy
“Find Forgiveness” to the simple “You Are Beautiful,” Ginger’s ten
chaotic years of trying to be mother to three, and wondering if one
will live, are poured out in every verse and melody.
But Ginger is telling different stories about Jarrott these days – how
he just made the honor roll; how he’s only a year behind his twin
brother Brennan in school; and (gulp) how girls are starting to notice
him.
“The first four years of his life were so touch-and-go,” Ginger
recalls. “He didn’t even speak a word until he was nearly five. There
were times I would call 911 when he couldn’t breathe and I was so
completely exhausted that I had no adrenalin left. I would just calmly
and matter-of-factly give the operator details over the phone. I’m
sure the 911 operator thought I was abnormal.”
These days, both Ginger and Jarrott breathe easier. Her twin boys,
born at 29 weeks, have both survived and are thriving young tweens.
But her family’s painful ordeal still resonates with people wherever
she speaks or sings. And Ginger knows when she tells her story to
women’s conferences and in concerts across the country that there are
many people in the audience who didn’t get a “yes” answer from God,
but instead got a “no.”
“In the midst of those worst moments, I admit I was hacked off at
God,” she recalls. “There were days when I didn’t want to read the
Bible or pray anymore. What good was it doing? My precious baby was
suffering. And all I could do was watch. But I came to a place where I
had to say to God, ‘Ok, if Romans 8:28 is true, and ALL things work
together for good, then I’m going to trust you, God, regardless of the
outcome.
“My husband’s brother had twins after we did,” Ginger recalls. “And
they also had problems. We prayed for a miracle in their lives, but
one of the babies died after three months. I look at their lives now
and see that God was no less faithful in their circumstances than He
was in ours. He has used that pain in their lives to minister healing
to other families. God is still a God of hope, and He has a plan, even
though it may not be what we desire.”
“Unto The Least” is a song especially close to Ginger’s heart. She and
Joel became sponsors of children through World Vision back when
Jarrott was still struggling to live, even though they “couldn’t rub
two nickels together.” Three years ago, Ginger became a partner with
World Vision and she and Joel went to the Domincan Republic to visit
children in crisis there, and found another child they just had to
sponsor. It is not surprising that Ginger is an outspoken advocate
when it comes to the topic of Pro-Life.
“I watched my little boy fight every day for every breath he took,”
says Ginger. “No one can tell me that a life – in any shape or form –
is not precious. I used to be so demure and non-confrontational. But
when it comes to children’s lives, I have become a relentless
fighter.”
In the midst of her strength, there have been moments when Ginger
grieved for the life she thought Jarrott would never have. “I remember
standing on a street corner in Denver many years ago, and thinking ‘No
one will ever love my son.’ The doctors kept saying he would not live
a normal life, and I sobbed thinking he might not be able to get
married or have kids of his own. But today, I found out some little
girls in his class are already sending him notes!”
The CD’s title aptly sums up how the Millermons feel every day,
regardless of what life hands them.
“Circumstances in life can change your perspective so suddenly,” says
Ginger. “And we still deal with tough things. My mom was recently
diagnosed with cancer. We’ve had other tragedies in our family. But I
can say that if I had never walked this road with my son, I would have
never experienced the depth of knowledge of God I have today. I have
learned He is faithful even in the darkest moments of life. He truly
does have a future and a hope as Jeremiah 29:11 says, even when I
can’t see it. I am constantly amazed by His love and grace in my life.
